Subject: [Missouri_Assistive_Technology] Google Chrome AT Power UP Conference

Hopefully you have received info about our AT Power Up Conference at Tan Tar A
April 14th and 15th. I will send some e-mails highlighting some of the
presentations that you may have missed while reading the overview.

Today: Assistive Technology and Google Chrome

More and more schools, individuals and businesses are turning to Google Chrome
as the browser of choice. It can be confusing at first as Chrome uses apps that
connect to the browser to make things happen. When it comes to AT, there are
many Chrome apps that may provide AT while in Chrome. Dr. Mark Surabian will
give a presentation on Monday April 14 at 9:00 AM on all things Chrome and
Chrome apps. Who should attend:

Schools or individuals that have Chromebooks

Anyone who uses Google Chrome as a browser and wants to explore AT options

Anyone frustrated with Windows IE and want a browser with more access features
or add-ons

Wanting to log into any tablet, PC or Mac at any time with your custom browser
settings already saved

Wanting to expand your mind beyond the iPad

Monday April 14th at 9:00: Google Apps: AT Exists in the Cloud

by Mark Surabian, ATP - The CogniTech Cafe
