Hey people,
If you just do a control R you can reply to just the person you want and not
the entire list!
Only general information here... Thanks!

Hi Reg,
Yes I do; I think my problem is more than OUtlook 2010, but it seems
it does the same thing on my laptop, so I'd just as soon go to Windows
Live
Mail; if I use another program at work, I'll learn it, but the Home and
Student edition, despite what I have been told, is far less robust than I
am
accustomed.
Warmest Regards,
Darla

I'm not sure which type of server Roadrunner supports. I would need to
check the account properties to see if that is the issue. You know how to
reach me I think.

Then I believe I know exactly what the issue is. Your GMail account is
set
up for IMap or Mapi instead of Pop3. This means that the messages and
folders are updating in real-time, and Outlook becomes unresponsive. If
you
go in and recreate the account and choose manual instead of letting
Outlook
create it, and put in the Pop server settings, this problem will
immediately
cease. Of course I could be wrong. Who is the provider for MCHSI.com
E-mail addresses? We could tell pretty quickly what is going on by
looking
at your account properties, but that is the most likely scenario that
would
explain your issue.

Dear reg,
I just don't know; mail is slow; when I get out of a message--or try to--I
can't sometimes, without having to close Outlook completely.

There is no difference with the home version of Outlook 2010, and it
definitely works better than Windows Live mail, particularly in the area
of
auto complete. You probably just need someone to help you one to one with
the settings.

I have never gotten this version of Outlook to work the way I believe it
should; is it difficult to export my Email to Live Mail? Is the luring
curve that steep?
I really think some of the problems with Outlook 2010 Home
and Student is that it isn't as robust as I thought it was and didn't know
it was the Home & Student version when I purchased it from an advertiser
on
a list.
