This is the first time that I have heard about a fund raiser. What are

Just a suggestion:
Why don't you raffle off these awesome prizes instead? I would rather have
something to offer the person from whom I am asking money than to just ask
for money in hopes I can get enough donations so I can win a prize. Sure,
some people don't mind donating, but I think insentive will go a lot
further.

Adaptive Technology inc. Fund raising contest.
Hi Folks,
ATI is in need of operating funds. So in the spirit of the season ATI is
having a fund razing contest.
So while you are visiting with family and friends ask them to help you to
win this great contest and support a good cause at the same time.

Beginning today and running through January 31, 2015 I am sponsoring a fund
raising contest for Adaptive Technology inc, (ATI), a special affiliate of
MCB.
The rules are simple.
The individuals who submit the three largest amounts raised by the deadline
of January 31, 2015 wins.
Grand Prize:
There will be a grand prize of a beautiful vintage, (not antique), walnut 8
day regulator wall clock. (Written description at the end of this
announcement).
Second Prize:
A beautiful decorative wooden box. No description as yet, because I have not
finished it at this time.
Third Place :
Two hand turned wooden ink pens.
Note: In case of a tie, the names of those winners will be placed into a hat
and the winner will be drawn out at random.
Submit all funds raised to:
