The VIP thermostats are completely settable by a blind person. They were
specifically designed for use by the blind.
I would not personally buy any other type of talking thermostat.

As far as I am concerned there is still no better thermostat available than the
VIP thermostats available at talkingthermostats.com. The Nest that pairs with
the iPhone is $200, and the app still isn’t very accessible.

Subject: [ATI] home thermostat
Hi all
I believe I am in needs of a new talking thermistat. I have a talking one. I
have had it about ten years. Wondering what is out there that is probably newer
and maybe better.
Thanks
Molly
