The link doesn't work for me. I'll just call them. It sounds pretty cool.

Subject: [Missouri Chat] Crowd Vis beta
Hi all, I have been working with a nice young man who is developing the
following app. We are now ready for more testers both non sighted and sighted.
If you ever wish you just had eyes for a moment when you were crossing a
street or trying to find something. Read the following and help if you can.
CrowdViz is an iOS app that unites blind people with volunteers. This app
acts as a medium between the sighted and non-sighted users. Blind users can
receive immediate sighted assistance by connecting to a volunteer anywhere
around the world and it is as easy as a click of a single button. The video
connection is possible via FaceTime. CrowdViz also enables blind users to rate
their volunteers, so that we can sustain a high quality volunteer pool.
Currently, this app is in beta and the CrowdViz team needs as much feedback as
possible so that the team can soon release a potentially incredible app! If you
are interested in beta testing this app, email the CrowdViz Team at
[email protected] or call them at 6097510686.
