Subject: Help With a Jaws Problem and with Attachment too
I am in need of some help with two things. The simplest is probably an
attachment that I moved to my downloads folder successfully, I think. When I
try to read it though, I am told it is a protected file and I can do nothing. I
know there is a way around this but don’t know what it is. Attachments have
always been my computer boogeyman or woman, although I know they are simple for
others who use them all the time. Yes, I have avoided them as much as I can but
have been having to deal with them lately, so I must be a grownup and learn.
Secondly, I just put Jaws 17 on my desk top computer running windows 7 and I am
having problems with uploading to the Phillmore voice mail system. What I am
trying to do is send files I have recorded up to their voice mail. With this
new version, something is different and I can no longer do it the way I did. I
know this is probably relatively simple as well, but I have no idea what to do.
Essentially, what I do is browse to select the file I want to send and that is
where my trouble begins. It is the sending I cannot accomplish. I am not on
the Jaws list or any technical one of any kind. I sure could use some help.
Thanks. I will gladly share my phone number with anyone who sincerely wishes to
help but would prefer not to leave it here. It is not that I think loads of
people would respond, but I think it is a wise choice. Thanks. My email address
is [email protected].
