Ann, I have never tried the Kindel tablet but I did get an Amazon Fire tablet. It also was $33.00 and could be expanded. I bought the 32 gig SD card for it and mainly use it for music. I find that it is accessible but a sluggish in responding. I know this doesn't help you much with the Kindel but does give you an alternative to the iPhone 6. You can put the BARD app on both the Amazon Fire and the Kindel.

I come from an apple background, but would like to get something just to do reading on to get my iPhone a break. I have an iPhone 6 right now, but when I saw that they had a $49 candle, that can be expanded up to 128 GB that really caught my interest. I would be interested in talking to other people that have a similar device. I know the eighth generation is the one that supposed to be the most blind accessible. Thank you in advance for any help. Also, thank you for the group. _______________________________________________ ATI (Adaptive Technology Inc.)
