We have been experimenting using APP from the browser via AJAX.
Browsers and javascript can accommodate most of the calls in APP with
the notable exception of media posts. It appears that javascript and
browsers are only capable of submitting files via a form post and so all
file posts are embedded in a post of media type
"application/x-www-form-urlencoded". As such browser clients cannot
presently make media posts via APP.
I'm uncertain as to how important browser clients are in APP, but if
media collections get reworked (and I hope they do) I wonder if browser
clients should be a design consideration,
