I agree that this works, but it seems more complicated than it need be. I have explained CalAtom to various colleages and they always get confused about the content/@src link. It doesn't make sense to them to treat one representation (the one that the entry happened to be created with) different to the other two.

What advantages are gained from mandating the use of content/@src? and what would we loose if it wasn't mandated?
