Perhaps, but there's really not a lot of harm in that; the feed could end up having lots of information any given client may not find useful. And if an opt-in mechanism really is needed, one could be used just as easily with x:deleted as it could with tombstone entries -- that is, the choice of how to represent the tombstone is orthogonal to the mechanism clients use to request tombstones. - James
