I can see that might be useful: if you don't want to clutter your normal feed with tombstones, and you don't want to reveal the *content* (even just the title/author) of deleted entries (except to those that have appropriate access privileges), but you do want to make available a list of which entries should be deleted. So .. for minimal tombstone elements alone, would they support a <link rel="edit" /> child element? e.
