I had considered something along those lines, but it seemed to me to be a bit vague. I suspect it would produce adequate results in the majority of cases, but I'd prefer something that gave the content provider finer control. I like the idea of being able to say exactly where in a feed an item should be positioned. Then again I'm not a content provider so maybe that's not the sort of thing they're looking for.
