The value "self" signifies that the IRI in the value of the href
attribute identifies a resource equivalent to the containing
element.
thus a link with @rel='self' in the <feed> element would link to that
archive feed document. Similarly, a link with @rel='self' in the
<entry>
element would link to a resource document of that particular entry.
Thus (in context of <feed>)
'self' = identifies a resource equivalent to this <feed>
'subscribe' = identifies the resource to subscribe to
The same holds true for archive feeds and the current sliding
window chunk,
which makes life easier.
