There are two different modules, MythStream and MythStreamTV. The first is
the one you'll find on ATrpms and allows you to watch or listen to online
feeds from within MythTV. So, in Mythtv, you go to Media -> Internet
Streams and you can listen to your favorite Internet Radio Station.

The MythStreamTV module allows you to view your recordings or videos
through MythWeb. This application has some very specific requirements on
ffmpeg and vlc and is not packaged.
