I have recently started getting kernels with a couple of more digits at the end for fc6. For example, I now have two 2911 kernels installed
kernel-2.6.19-1.2911.fc6 kernel-2.6.19-1.2911.6.5.fc6 When I tried to upgrade with yum yum update I run into a dependency conflict related to mpeg2dec, though it does find the kernel modules for all installed kernels. If I upgrade with smart, the ivtv, alsa, lirc and nvidia9746 kernel modules for the kernel 2911.6.5 kernel are not installed. Is there any solution beyond installing the kernel modules by hand, e.g. yum install alsa-kmdl-2.6.19-1.2911.6.5.fc6-1.0.14-58_rc3.fc6.at and similarly for ivtv, lirc and nvidia? I have become spoiled in the past year by having the kernel modules installed automatically. _______________________________________________ atrpms-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.atrpms.net/mailman/listinfo/atrpms-users
