Sorry for the off topic question. I am installing Fedora 6 x86_x64 for the first time.
After the installation and the first update (only fedora update channel) I saw that a large number of packages were installed in pairs: i386 and x86_64 versions. I have already seen people mentioning that problem before. My question is: what should be done? Should I try to remove i386 versions? Reinstall using other options? Leave the way it is? I would like to have a minimum number of i386 packages, maybe some compatibility libraries only. Any directions will be really welcome, because I do not want to spend a lot of time on this subject. -- Paulo Roma Cavalcanti LCG - UFRJ
