Thanks Axel. Actually, the fault was all my own making. You were right - there was a cache. I found it by running: # echo -e "TRACE / HTTP/1.1\nHost: dl.atrpms.net\n\n" | nc dl.atrpms.net 80 And guess where the transparent proxy was - on my own network! I put it there - squid and dansguardian. Doh Doh Doh!!! Sorry about that.
