There must be a way... Specifically, I have been unable to figure out how to use yum to retrieve the appropriate suspend2 rpms from Matthias Hensler's Suspend2 repository for use with the MythDora 4.0 distribution. I know this is a separate repository, but the problem I'm having applies to other packages in general and this is just the latest instance I have encountered, so I would appreciate any advice on how to accomplish this in general.
MythDora 4.0 is based on kernel version 2.6.20-1.2944.fc6. I can see from Matthias' Suspend2 repository that the packages I need exist, and I could use wget to put them on my local machine and then use yum localinstall, but it seems as though there ought to be a way to get them directly. All my attempts to explicitly specify one fail and if I just run "yum list available kernel-suspend2", I get only one available package, namely the version for 2.6.22,14-72_1.cubbi_suspend2. Is there a way to do this and does it perhaps have something to do with the undocumented entry in my yum.conf, "pkgpolicy=newest"?
