I have been going crazy trying to figure out why my irblaster channel changing hasn't been working with Mythtv after my latest round of updates. Since this group of updates included both a new kernel and a new version on Mythtv I wasn't really sure where to look, and was kind of thinking it was a Mythtv problem. After ruling out Mythtv and then trying a bunch of other troubleshooting steps, it finally dawned on me that I didn't have the lirc kmdl package with the latest kernel, and that I was using the "built-in" kernel module. I rebooted my PC to the previous kernel and lo-and-behold my channel changing was working again. (Note: this is for the lirc_serial module) So, Axel anyway of getting your lirc kmdl package for the latest kernel? Short of that, anyone know why the built-in lirc_serial module doesn't work? TIA, John
