I have had some success. Transcode did not work. I got xdiv working only 
if I did not do de-interlacing. The source recording was dvb-c 702x576 
mpeg's from a Danish broadcast.

These are the sw versions:
nuvexport-0.5-4_20090410.svn.fc10.noarch
ffmpeg-0.5-30.fc10.i386
transcode-1.1.2-43.fc10.i386

and on fedora 10
