Hello Axel and Guys, Firstly I would like to apologize for being such a 'giveme' 'giveme' , but could I please ask you guys for a set of nvidia drivers . I know that I asked for 185.18.14 however they have proven not to work well at all with VDPAU and mythtv.
Up to now I have been using regular mythtv with no VDPAU because last time I tried the bijou myth it was segfaulting on audio . However rev 210 bijou is working perfectly now ( thank you very much for your efforts on that ylee and others ) . So I installed bijou 210 and set up the VDPAU profiles . Before this I used VDPAU sparingly only with mplayer for an odd file here and there , and did not notice any issues . Now that I started watching TV with mythtv ( yes I use mythtv to watch tv exclusively and also record sometimes ) I noticed that I would get freezes followed by crashes of the video driver resulting in 1000's of little dots all over the screen on the menus as well as playback . This would happen after a few hours or as little as after 30 mins of watching . The only thing that would recover would be a system restart . I had a look on the net for similar issues , and it looks like people are saying that 185.x is not good for VDPAU . JYA was also recommending 180.60 . So guys can we please package up those 180.60 drivers for fedora 10 kernel 2.6.27.25-170.2.72.fc10.i686 please .
