Hm, that's bad, but there is an easy workaround, simply do yum install nvidia-graphics192.42 You will not get the nvidia-graphics package which takes care of automated updates in the nvidia version (automated updates for new kernels is taken care of by yum-plugin-kmdl). For posterity and interested readers: The error comes from building the package under Fedora 12 (or 11) which seems to introduce this dependency. There are some few packages that are the same for all distos (like this one) and they need to be built on only one platform. I usually pick RHEL5 and everything is compatible, but RHEL5 seems to break on dangling symlinks which this package provides (actually nvidia-graphics-devel provides them). I'll ask on the rpm list and see what the best way to fix this is, but for now, please just use nvidia-graphics192.42. -- Axel.Thimm at ATrpms.net
