I wouldn't be that pessimistic - the code seems to be already in the next alsa release, and traditionally there had been alsa releases every 3-4 months, which means that if tradition continues a new alsa release is soon to come. The code then also makes it into the new vanilla kernel and Fedora is very close to the latest kernel, so Fedora 13 will get the patches. As to whether ATrpms will fold them into kmdl *before* 1.0.23: It depends on whether someone goes through the trouble of splitting out the patches needed for GT200 HDMI or even wishes to maintain an alsa-git kmdl in bleeding. I wouldn't mind such a package in ATrpms, but I currently cannot drive such an effort myself. Are there any takers? -- Axel.Thimm at ATrpms.net
