after installing http://dl.atrpms.net/all/motion-3.2.12-7.el5.i386.rpm
I noticed many error messages in syslog meaning that motion was compiled
with no ffmpeg support.

That's quite strange for a system that has to record videos :-)
Where can I find this rpm with ffmpeg support ?
