Hi All! After three weeks of hard sex with ATV, reading lots of forums, blogs, etc I have done:
Debian etch with Xorg - Working; RCA Video (composite) - Working; HDMI Video - Working; WiFi - Working; LAN - Working; HDMI Audio - NOT working; RCA Audio - actually NOT working well (very very weak, very low volume, RCA patches applied, but no MASTER mixer found); IR - NOT working; And the main problem: After almost every reboot (from remote by holding "Menu" + "-" or just switching the power off) - ATV isn't booting up. All I see is flickering "question mark" with "HDD" icons. Few reboots won't help. To solve it I have to: remove the battery from ATV, wait few seconds, place it back and switch the power On on ATV. Only then it's booting well. For today I can't see what to do next. So much patches applied, so much recompiling, so much kernels build. IS ANYBODY HAVE FULLY WORKING DEBIAN ON ATV??? (as minimum rca audio + NO rebooting problems)???? Please could you be so kind and make an IMAGE of the AppleTV HDD you have and share it? I even ready to transfer some $$ anybody who will share with me their working Debian image or could help to solve rebooting problem and RCA volume.
