So all the hardware components work under 8.04? hdmi ? component ? wifi ? ethernet ? digital audio? analog audio? usb? ethernet?
What resolution(s) can you run? Would you recommend 8.04 over 8.10? Sorry for all the questions, I'm looking to do this for the first time, and want to do it "Right". I've used Ubuntu 8.10 before.
