It looks like when I turn on the TV, which is connected thru HDMI,
that the ATV box "starts up" - I see the screen content flip once a
couple of seconds after the TV was turned on.

I started letting the ATV sit a couple of minutes before I start watch
Live TV or recordings and so far this has taken care of the issue I
was having.

Hopefully this will work as a reboot on the ATV with Mythbuntu 8.10
takes several minutes until the Myth frontend is ready for use.
