I was trying to install with a clean wipe of the PATA HDD and bootstrap from a usb drive originally but Im getting no where fast. So as per suggestion I am going to build the partitions and move boot.efi to the drive for a stand alone boot. This was to be my second project, but seeing how the first only made it half way I am just going to skip it.
