So I finally got ubuntu on my apple TV. I use ENVY to install my nvidia drivers.I believe they are driver 180.51, but im not positive as Im at work right now. I followed the direction on here to underclock the GPU, however my GPU2DClockFreqs are still at 360 720 but the current GPUClockFreqs are showing the proper 200 800.
Do you think this is just from using the new drivers? Is this how it should show? Over all I am trying to get 720p playback to work smoothly. So far MPlayer movie player does the best job, however the second it drops a frame the audio goes out of sync. If I set it to force dropping frames the playback gets very choppy.
