Anyone have optical audio working with MythTV? I've just built a second AppleTV with Mythbuntu, but I need optical with this one (I have analog audio on the first) but I cannot seem to find out why it does not work. I get no sound at all.
I have set and unset multiple combinations of Alsa output devices and passthrough devices. I have AC3 and DTS passthrough turned on. I have all alsa devices unmuted. Curious to know if it does work for other people, so I can then continue my troubleshooting effort knowing that it *should* be working. If it matters, I am running Mythbuntu 9.04 which pretty much sees all the hardware without any custom module compiling.
