I am trying to setup a mythtv frontend on the apple tv, and I just need to figure out how to setup the remote.
I have read that the apple tv only understands the codes used by the white apple remote. My question is, if the apple tv v2.4 can "learn" any remote, should I not be able to configure Lirc to use any remote. I have successfully "learned" the remote I want to use in the apple tv os, but when I try to use irrecord in ubuntu, I get no signals from the very same remote.
