I am hoping someone can help me with this as it appears I have come the limits of my newb experience. I had 8.04 working on ATV with no problems except that I needed to upgrade to 9.10 with MythTV 22 to match updates on the server. At first things were going swimingly as I used the Ubuntu upgrade process to move to version 8.10 with success and then to proceed to 9.04 which is where I hit the proverbial wall. When it reboots now I get the following and then it locks up:
umount proc/mounts: No such file or directory umount proc/mounts: No such file or directory I read about changing the com.apple.Boot.plist on sda3 (osboot) partition to use "manual" so I changed that (it was set to "atv- boot=auto") but still to no avail (I did not modify the existing "boot_linux.sh" file though). This does bring up a question though in that the directions for this setting on the home page say "atv- boot=auto" and then a couple of lines later say "atv_boot=manual" (note the use of a "-" in one and a "_" in another) which makes me wonder if it should be "-" or "_"? If I do the change to the com.apple.Boot.plist in the osboot partition should I change the "boot_linux.sh" file and if so what should the file look like? Alternatively, is there something else that I should be looking at that the 9.04 upgrade would have changed? -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/atv-bootloader?hl=en
