It seems that kexec no longer works with Mythbuntu 9.10. Here's what I get with the 9.10 CD mounted as /cdrom: (note: I have replaced initrd.gz with initrd.lz) appl...@appletv-frontend:~$ kexec --load /cdrom/casper/vmlinuz -- initrd=/cdrom/casper/initrd.lz --command-line="boot=casper initrd=/ casper/initrd.lz nosplash vesa" setup_linux_vesafb: 720x480x32 @ 10018000 +2d0000 kexec_load failed: Operation not permitted entry = 0xfeb4498 flags = 0 nr_segments = 4 segment[0].buf = 0x8072670 segment[0].bufsz = 3633 segment[0].mem = 0x3000 segment[0].memsz = 4000 segment[1].buf = 0xb7ac8608 segment[1].bufsz = 3b26e0 segment[1].mem = 0x100000 segment[1].memsz = 3b3000 segment[2].buf = 0xb7547008 segment[2].bufsz = 57d098 segment[2].mem = 0xf935000 segment[2].memsz = 57e000 segment[3].buf = 0x806b550 segment[3].bufsz = 7100 segment[3].mem = 0xfeb4000 segment[3].memsz = 9000 -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/atv-bootloader?hl=en
