The error with not completing the install has to do with the NVidia graphics controller. I had been thinking of using the "Open Source" driver and then going in afterwards to replace it. This is not workable though in that the open source driver uses a different structure that is not supported n NVidia based systems. To me this looks like a installer bug for MythBuntu but the short and sweet of it is that you UST select the NVidia driver from the TV output selection.
Now the bigger problem that I am moving onto. David, in your installation instructions you give the "Fixing Grub" section but something is missing. I have done so and yet it still boots back to AppleTV. Is there anything that you can think of that is missing?
