A year or so ago I purchased an ATV to use as a mythtv frontend after becoming frustrated with my xbox/xbmc/myth2xbmc frontends. I wanted to be able to run the standard mythfrontend. I was able to follow the instructions and get it running, but I could never get it to display properly on my rear projection big screen tv. So, I moved it to another room and plugged it in to my Dell W1700 TV/Monitor thinking I would have an easier time getting it to display correctly. Unfortunately no. Currently status is that I can't start X and I don't have network connectivity wired or wireless. It responds to the keyboard. At this point, I either want to get it working (very soon) or restore it to factory condition and put it up on eBay. I would appreciate some advice as to how to proceed. I can follow the instructions on the ATV site once pointed in the right direction. Thanks.
