I need help, I have installed Mythbuntu 10.4 lucid on my internal atv disk as the only system.
I can manually boot the system with kexec but I can not boot directly from the disk. I edited the menu.lst as follows: default 0 title Mythbuntu root (hd0,3) kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.31-14-generic root=/dev/sda4 ro quiet processor.max_cstate=2 initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.31-14-generic boot I can boat manually using kexec as follows: Mount /dev/sda4 /tmp cd /tmp kexec –load vmlinuz –initrd=initrd.img –command-line=”root=/dev/sda4 initrd=initrd.img” kexec –e I have to use the vmlinuz and initrd.img from Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Kola to get it to work. The new vmlinuz and initrd.img from Mythbuntu 10.04 lucid will not work. I need help to get the system to boot direct from the atv internal disk without the usb stick and boot-loader. Please help Thanks stentmartin -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/atv-bootloader?hl=en
