Okay, let me quote from a Filser-Brief I read a few years ago: "It's to drive out of the skin!" and "This makes me foxdevilswild!" After treating the above variables with AC_SHELL_QUOTIFY, this is what ends up in preview/Makefile: packagedatadir = d:/tmp/foo\\\ bar/emacs-21.3/site-lisp/auctex$(null) [...] packagelispdir = d:/tmp/foo\\\ bar/emacs-21.3/site-lisp/auctex$(null) So I guess we need a way to quote the values if they are computed by preview/configure and to inhibit quoting if they come from the top-level configure script. -- Ralf _______________________________________________ auctex-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/auctex-devel
