(reftex-ref-style-alist)
(reftex-ref-style-active-list): New variables.
(reftex-vref-is-default, reftex-fref-is-default): Adapt doc string
to new implementation. Mark as obsolete. Add compatibility code
for honoring the variable values in case they are set.
