Agreed. If savannah doesn't provide it (I don't actually know -- I've no
experience with savannah), then you should look into installing roundup
somewhere.

The python people are using it and it can fully be operated via email,
but also has a web-interface to make other people happy or see the
issues sorted in whatever way you want.

OK, seems that I have to read much more to understand better how one
code part is connected to others and how they play together with font-lock.

Well, all I want was to have proper highlighting inside some

\begin{chunk}{CHUNKNAME}
...
\end{chunk}

environments according to the programming language that lives inside the
chunk and now I am already trying to turn auctex upside down. And that
will probably only solve one half of my problem.

All beyond my skills. But there's probably nobody else willing to solve
my problem. :-(

PS: Is auctex changing in the near future from CVS to a more modern
DVCS, like for example git?
