Independently of these general considerations, I would like an answer on
how to:

1. suppress bold face in \newpage and similarly bold highlighted strings.

2. make Gu\'{\i}a 2 in {\LARGE \bf Gu\'{\i}a 2} display large and bold.

3. make {Cu} in M_\mathrm{Cu}  display as part of the subindex.

4. change the color of comments to gray.

These specific changes make sense to me.
