Please be so kind to read it. As I've had no reply, and I'm desperate, I
dare to post it here.
After my post to comp.emacs, another text corruption happened to me ---I
was working in an enumerate environment; then I C-x C-s and C-c C-c and
an error appeared. First I thought I had made an error in the
environment, but C-c ` revealed a \centering command, about a screen up,
had changed to \centermng.
Please note that the bug I describe was happening *before* AUCTeX 11.87;
so, if AUCTeX has anything to do with it, it isn't specific to the
recent release.
Also, this sort of text corruption is not reproducible, as it is
completely aleatory ...and unexpected!
Any help will be truly appreciated!
