thanks again for trying out Indeed on a Ubuntu 16 with GNU Emacs 24.5.1 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.18.9) of 2016-04-17 on lgw01-04, modified by Debian I don't have the issue which I reported initially (tested with 11.89.6 and then 11.90.0) The issue does arise on my Mac though, (with Emacs 25.1 and a binary build I downloaded from the net) the first thought is that something is different in my init files, I can not compare them now but will do that later and report if anything comes out.
