Hello,

A tex compiling-error can be examined by TeX-next-error, bounded to C-c
`. This gives in the background a buffer containing the tex log
file. When the error is corrected and the file is re-compiled, the log
buffer is updated with an echoed message. The log buffer is not deleted
and on every compilation thereafter the echoed update-message is
again displayed. I find this to be distracting. Is there any way to
automatically delete the log buffer after a successful compilation?

Best wishes,

Colin Baxter.
