This is not an auctex issue, but I feel that this group is most
likely to be familiar with this.
I have an old MacBook with macos 10.13 on which I installed MacTex 2020.
In TeXShop, I can compile various .tex files. I can also read pdf
documents that ship with texlive. For example "Show Help for Package"
for tikz shows PGF TikZ manual. I can successfully compile a .tex file
which includes \usepackage{tikz} command.
But when I try to compile a .tex file from command line or from emacs,
only the basic .tex files compile. If .tex file includes
\usepackage{tikz}, then compilation fails with error message:
ERROR: LaTeX Error: File `tikz.sty' not found.
Below are outputs in command line. What additional setup do I need?
What documents will point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Naresh
