It really never crashed mine, used it for a year or two. What /would/
crash it was the AAC decoder. Either it wouldn't recognize half the
songs (a libtag? problem that they just pointed me back to you guys -
I finally gave up, and never reported it to you folks, because I would
just use my ipod directly).

OK So that's completely understandable. I agree with you 100%. I,
also, agree that the libmad is very good quality, but what would need
to happen to have a "save to disk while streaming" feature request? Is
this something that you folks do, or is this something that libmad is
responsible for? Do I have to use a wrapper like vsound everytime I
start up a stream? I think I noticed that you folks were working on a
client/server arch. Is a wrapper script for URL's starting the server,
while having the client connect to the server a solution? I am not
trying to be a pest, just looking for a workaround for the lack of
functionality here. Or should I just go elsewhere?

Apparently, people don't record streams as much as i do :)
