the best tip I can give for progressing up from easy is not to rest your fingers on green, red, yellow and blue. I know it's tempting, but that leaves your pinky to deal with orange and pinkys suck. Shift your hand up so it's going to be your pointer finger that will have to jump from red to green and back again. It's a stronger finger and it will get your hand used to the constant movement your going to hit on hard and expert.
also... Those cheeky orange notes that get thrown into a song for the briefest moments on easy and medium? you will be primed to hit them all.
