I wouldnt install Kortana on an android phone at the given time, due to the fact that there are bug reports on the internet describing that after installing Kortana, surton features of some android devices stop working or are unresponsive, sometimes just a factory reset can help you out.
I would be cautious about this program and see what Microsoft will do to solve this problem.
I will surely check out the mailing list, that was a really great tipp.
