Re: When is the last time anyone has read a braille book?
On the Blind Bargains Qast from about June 2015, there is a demonstration of one of the people on the beta test team demonstrating it. When the device is processing information, it sounds like a loud printer; when the braille cells are refreshing, it sounds like paper being torn up. The sound is less than pleasant. I think that even reading ebooks with that kind of device would be very frustrating.
