NBP tweeted about it like yesterday, saying it was ready for release, and they'll be showing it off at CSUN.
I'm pretty disappointed that their "thousands of dollars less than current brille displays" was a cheap slight of hand. Sure, $2500 is cheaper than $5000, but for the size they're going for (20 cells), that's pretty normal, if not toward the high end. One could blame it on the fact that the hardware and OS are modern, rather than still running stuff that was outdated in 2003, but I dunno; it's still disappointing that there's still no one who can find a way around the fact that these are either government-bought, or luxury items.
