Re: Getting jobs, turning down unwanted jobs ETC.
Two things I want to say:
1. Perhaps a call centre job is the best thing certain people can do because they have no other qualifications. Do it for a few years because at least it'll give them some level of experience. Though it's not meant to be their life's work, it's a "stepping stone" to a better job. They complain that they have no job, yet they won't even try to get a job, although basic, to even try and get themselves out of the land of the unemployed. Even sighted people have to do the boring and unfulfilling jobs for a few years to "learn the ropes" of proper employment.
2. If you live too far away from getting training, so be it. Don't blame yourself for something like that. As a human being, you have every right to live where you choose to live. The only problem is that you need a job that you can get to. Start posting your resume online, because that is at least a temporary way of thinking your getting somew here, and you might even be contacted by a prospective employer. It's better to be contacted rather than not to be contacted at all.
